Over the last several years I've helped develop more than a dozen narrative non-fiction podcasts for Last 5 Percent Media on the topics such as true crime and unsolved cold cases, the history of censorship in the United States, 20th century political history, Hollywood scandals, and stories that have shaped American culture in the last century. I also regularly contribute research for Underunderstood, a podcast which attempts to solve listeners pop culture and lost media mysteries.
In 2022, I researched and wrote my own three-part podcast series investigating a claim by the DJ/musician Moby that he was the "great-great-great-grandnephew" of author Herman Melville (hence the stage name of Richard Melville Hall). The results of the podcast were picked up by Stereogum, NME, and several other music blogs.
